In Part One of our Extreme Wellness is Sexy series, Your Weight
Is Sexy, we discussed that no matter what size you are, bringing your
body into proper weight alignment will relieve the body's burden of
being overworked, and will result in a properly functioning body which
in turn is attractive, and dare we say, sexy.
Next we are going to find out why what you eat makes you sexy.
Nutrition, of course, can play a key role in weight. So today we are going to highlight nutrition specifically as a means to extreme wellness.
The old adage is true: you are what you eat. Although it would be more accurate to say, you are what you assimilate, but we'll have to save that for another article.
Your body is designed to run on fuel. And that fuel is in the form of food. Not the stuff you find on the inner aisles of the modern-day grocery store, but the stuff around the outside perimeters. You've been there, right? The produce and meat sections?
Anything in a box is not considered nutrition. If it didn't grow in nature, it's not actually food. It's amazing how many times a day I actually have to tell people that! I guess convenience has trumped common sense.
However now-a-days we have another problem to consider. Some of the food in the "actual food" section of the grocery store has been genetically modified (GMO), which means it's not going to operate in the way the original food would have. And that's harmful to us. Sorry, but Man just cannot improve on perfection!
I feel a soapbox speech coming on, so let me quickly move on.
The food and nutrition you put into your body carries all the tools that make your cells, tissues, muscles, organs, blood, brain, lymph, well EVERYthing, work properly. Your body processes the food you give it and pulls the nutrients out to send them to all the different places of the body to keep you operational.
So imagine if you gave your body something that isn't nutritious... something from a box that doesn't have anything but sugar and chemicals and coloring in it. It might be called "food" but that's simply advertising. Picture that combination being processed by your body.
Some of the ingredients won't make it through because your filtering organs can't filter non-food substances.
Some of the ingredients will be processed and will live in your blood stream wreaking havoc.
And some of the ingredients will turn into fat and stay with you... and not in the BFF sort of way!
Contrast this bleak picture with the application of live nutritious foods. When the body is given what it's designed to operate on, it will... wait for it... operate in optimum condition!
And when the body is operating as it was meant to, well, that's just plain sexy!
Your skin will glow. It really will.
Your wrinkles will wait YEARS to show up.
Your brain will think clearly and focus on demand.
Your hair will be shiny.
You'll be able to see out of your eyes.
You'll have energy you thought you lost long ago.
Think about people you know that eat nutritious foods and you will begin to see what I mean when I say what you eat makes you sexy. Again, it isn't about what you actually look like (put away the circus paint), it's about what you exude.
A vibrant glowing human being is so attractive!
